2. So after the Hunters Choice Poll, somebody on the Monster Hunter Subreddit decided to do a poll to figure out the best Elders. It was, vote for the worst, day by day, until we got through them all. And it didnt include variants and subspecies. Dragons were tk be voted based on their entire name. And if I remember right Narwa and Ibushi didnt do to terrible there…. I'll be back.

3. Allmother narwa was probably my favorite fight in base rise… I just like shagaru more lol

4. Ibushi, Narwa, and Allmother Narwa are the best elder dragons IMO.

5. I did not even realize they fused (?). I thought im just facing Ibushi and then Narwa.

6. You can get an okay greatsword set with the MR versions of their sets but it's nothing to write home about. You can even add two level one deco slots to each piece.

   -Narwa Gloves
   -Narwa Waist
   -Ibushi Boots

   Without counting decos, off the bat you get: Guard, Wind Alignment, Stormsoul, Thunder Alignment (4/5), Focus, Guard Up, Slugger, Artillery, Evade Extender, Partbreaker and Flinch Free.

7. Weirdly Enough the Allmother is my favorite elder dragon and I have played since MHGU….

8. Title made me think this wasn't their first appearance, it's literally the last MH game to have come out.

9. this is the first video of yours that i have watched and I absolutly love it. This is such a great idea for a series, looking into every aspect of a monther, from the easily seen things like the weapons, armor, and fight, to the less talked about parts such as the music and designs/ intention behind the design. 11. The only reason I hate ibushi is that, when he was a rampage only monster I spend 9pm to 3 am farming the rampage to get a gem. He was my most hunted monster in rise and it wasn’t close

13. They are amazingly in design. Their story is just lack luster. Also i think some of the attacks that narwa do are a bit weird but other than that i think they are pretty cool.

15. I hated all three serpents, all of them were simply boring gimmick fights, especially ibushi.

    Allmother was some notches above the other two, but still uninteresting

16. Rampage's are the number one reason I dread going back to Rise…I just cant bring myself to start a new playthrough.

Even with all this said I don't really see them getting any higher in a popularity vote cause the are mid and if you gave people five or three votes I don't think in that five or three most people would vote for them, not to say they're bad elder dragons but when you compare them to a lot of other monsters there's a lot to be desired.

20. Narwa’s palamute armor was so good I used for my palamute for all of rise until sunbreak

21. Just to play devil's advocate a bit, but the popularity vote was not a ranking but a vote for number one. Its not necessarily true that narwa and ibushi are so low on everyone's list, but are not that many people's number one pick

23. Ay, at least both Ibushi/Allmother and Narwa is better than Zorah. Waiting for 20 minutes for the quest to be done in Zorah is crazy work lmao.

24. If you play MH Rise at launch, you'll notice there's only 2 Elder Dragons in the game (3 if you count allmother). It's disappointing. The Gear is good but the design is not. It felt like a rushed MH World sequel with traces of Classic MH (Yes, Rise is not a Spin-off). Thank God MHXX/Gen Ultimate is localized otherwise it'll be very boring while waiting for MH Rise title update.

27. 9:50 wait.. So the lightning that shoots up from the ground won't apparently hit you while you're knocked down, but lightning that comes down from the sky will?
    Rise' hitboxes just feel messed up.

28. Not a fan of killing a pregnant dragon to be honest.

29. It doesn't help that their armor and weapons aren't the best, especially for what were the "final bosses" at the time.

30. And yes, I did use the canons/ballista,dragonators, and split wyvern Canon on Ibushi. And I did use the wyvern ride you get in the allmother fight with a ruby wirebug. For those who don't know, ruby and gold wirebugs are master rank only, and make you deal more punisher damage (the move you do when gauge is full) for ruby,and more drops for gold.
