49 pensiero su “She Has Solar Panel Debt For 21 YEARS #finsubito agevolazioni”
  1. renting or loaning is always a bad idea but Americans loves doing that. Especially solar systems…only r-farted people thinks it's a good idea

  2. Caleb knows nothing about solar panels solar panels still work in heavy rain, they still work on low levels at night

  3. I live in Florida, panels for my house are $250, our electric bills were $350 minimum. They are now $15 (a service charge for being connected to the grid). In some situations solar is very worth it

  4. My wife had us sit down for a solar sales pitch. Solar system was about 15k, but the new roof we needed to support the panels was 90k 😅😅

  5. Solar only makes sense if you are in a place with vary high electricity costs and lots of sunlight.
I live in Australia and it is vary popular over here because our electricity costs are astronomical and it's sunny for most of the year.

  6. Good, this proves hippies are morons and solar panels are a scam. She doesn't deserve to have money if she falls for that "green energy" nonsense.

  7. I used to work at a (now bankrupt) solar company call center. Solar panels are such a scam, 20 year loan with the bank and they expect you to use the same power amount for two decades 😅.
Worst of all the sales teams would sell to 80year olds like come on

  8. 32? 36? I'm sure she saw 30-something YEARS on the contract.
Something like 50%, still comparing with cars installments in Brazil for 5 years, that is way cheaper. But I like the way you guys defend your interest rates.
Also, I think you guys are talking about 12% a year.
Here we talk in months, cars go from 2-6% a month and loans go from 8 to 20%/month. Credit cards go around 20%/month.

  9. I always try to warn people about these solar panel loans and I get so much push back. Like paying a monthly payment for the electricity you use is much better than paying a monthly payment for solar panels for the next 20 years. Stay out of debt people. Depreciating assets are not investments in your future.

  10. As a solar installer i can tell you the loans are a massive scam and so is the actual cost of installation. All you really need is 1kwh of battery for every 2kwh on your daily consumption and the panels 2kw worth of panels for every 1kwh of consumption. Most people are in the 30-40kwh range in consumption so you would need roughly a 20kwh battery, 40kw worth of panels, and a 10kw output capacity. Buying all the parts and paying someone to install them would cost less than $10k. That would be the best option. Alternatively there is sunrun which is a system you don't own but rather they just become your electricity provider so they give you a cost per kwh, you pay that and they'll install solar for the house in exchange for being the sole provider at a fixed rate for however many years. If you aren't going to straight up buy a system yourself that is the best way to go about doing solar.

  11. I've never heard of solar panel financing but 30,000 is INSANE what the…. How do they let people loan this much money…

  12. 120 dollars a month aint even covering the interest rate of that loan. She’s got to pay 300 dollars a month just to cover the interest. That’s one the dumbest loans i’ve ever heard of. To think she’s more than 14 years old and took that loan god damn she gotta be stupid

  13. For those that don't know solar panels last about 15 years, so she is going to pay for them even after the panels are unusable.😐

  14. Only ground mount solar works, and then only if you have the space. Putting it on your roof is about the stupidest thing you can do. There are bifacial panels that can be used as fencing. But for the love of god don't put them on your roof.

Solar panels are cheap, just DIY.

  15. I've done some debt counseling with young soldiers. I've completely lost it when they show up with their paperwork for a loan for a Camero at 23% interest for 84 months, so I understand his frustration.

  16. Whoa, I didn’t know solar panels were such a scam! I live in a duplex, and the management company decided to install some this month. Of course their investment makes more sense with two renters paying for them because our “electricity bill” (which is tbd) will be used for that payment.

  17. I got the quote for my house in NC. $55k for 1800 sq ft house, with the state rebate. That sent me down the rabbit hole for the cost of going green, which I determined is a scam. I'm not going to lie to any of you but my reasons are not environmental, instead selfish. Because I live in a hurricane area.
Before anyone says they would get destroyed, no I don't have anything around unless we have a tornado.
Another scam is hurricane insurance. They only pay out of you have wind and water insurance, BUT you can't get wind and water unless you get hurricane coverage with it.

  18. Break 30k to 120$ payments is beyond crazy, the interest alone is going to double the price. Either pay a bigger sum or save 3k every year to reset the interest
